Susan Millham, MSW, LICSW

Owner, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (WV, PA, MD, VA)

Susan is the owner of Millham Psychotherapy Group and a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the State of West Virginia, licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia.

She earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) and a Certificate in Geriatric and Gerontological Social Work from Binghamton University. She is currently a Certified IFS therapist.

Additionally, she serves as an Adjunct Lecturer with WVU, teaching social work and gerontology classes.

My practice is rooted in an integrative, lifespan-informed, and process-based model, grounded in Mindfulness-Based Therapy.

Sarah Owen, MSW Intern

Advanced MSW Intern

Sarah is in the advanced year of her Master of Social Work program. She joins Millham Psychotherapy Group as she shifts careers, holding a Master’s degree in Wildlife Biology with extensive experience conserving native species from sea turtles to butterflies.

She has also enjoyed working alongside farmers, landowners, and youth in West Virginia, promoting conservation and agriculture. Through nearly 30 years of this community-centered work, her love for the people of Appalachia transformed into a deep passion for serving our aging population and supporting mental health.

Sarah looks forward to serving her community by providing compassionate, supportive therapy services.
